After Black Friday and Cyber Monday ....
Today, November 27, is #GivingTuesday, a new movement to celebrate giving and encourage more, better, and smarter giving during the holiday season. Today is the day to transform the way people think about, talk about, and participate in charitable giving. Today we can all find ways for our families, our communities, our companies, or our organizations to join in acts of giving and service.
Share what you are doing and why it matters. Join a national celebration of our nation's great tradition of generosity.

Catholic Campaign for Human Development
Yearly Collection at St. John the Baptist
Respecting
the dignity of each and every human being is a fundamental belief in
Catholicism. The Catholic Campaign for Human Development, a program funded by
the U.S. Catholic Bishops, does just that by funding organizations whose
members wish to lift themselves out of poverty. Each year, parishioners are
asked to give to this collection, which has previously improved economic
development, education systems, and housing situations. The CCHD Collection
takes place the Sunday before Thanksgiving, November 18. Please help fight for
poverty and give to the Catholic Campaign for Human Development Collection.
Thank You!
There will also be informational booths at St. John on both
Sunday, November 11th, and Sunday, November 18th from
about 9:00AM – 1:00pm.
