Thanksgiving Drive

The Social Services Program is beginning the annual; Thanksgiving Food drive. Please use the bags with needed items listed distributed at Mass or the boxes at the exits to place food donations.

Every year St. John the Baptist Social Services Program hosts a Thanksgiving Day food drive to assist struggling people in the Baldwin Park area. This year the goal is to serve 120 families. This year the Baldwin Park School District is partnering with Social Services.

We are hoping the community will be able to assist the program in acquiring turkeys as part of the families’ baskets. The program is already working with parishioners and other groups to help make a package of potatoes, stuffing, yams, cranberries and rolls along with the turkey for each family.
