St. John the Baptist Social Services is able to offer many programs to aid those with questions on immigration and citizenship.
-an immigration lawyer is frequently at the office in person Tuesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Her expertise includes the Class U Visa for abuse situations as well as family petitions and hardship cases. She is also bilingual.
-Social Services also offers classes (in English and Spanish) to prepare legal residents to take their citizenship exams. With citizenship, whole new job opportunities become available along with the ability to take a more meaningful role in the community in Baldwin Park.
These services are open to everyone.
