Medi-Cal Schedule

Due to a Los Angeles County holiday, the Medi-Cal/CalFresh worker will not be on-site on Monday, October 8. Normal hours resume October 10 (afternoon).

Medi-Cal Worker

The Los Angeles County Medi-Cal worker will be on vacation Wednesday, August 1.

New Medi-Cal hours

The new hours for the on-site Medi-Cal and CalFresh LosAngeles County employee are:

Monday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. (except lunch hour)

Wednesday 1p.m.-5 p.m. (no longer in the morning)

She remains at the Social Services Office, 3912 Stewart Avenue, Baldwin Park

Medi-Cal worker schedule: March 7

Due to a staff meeting, the Medi-Cal worker will only be in the office on March 7 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Medi-Cal Worker Schedule

The on-site Medi-Cal worker will not be at St. John the Baptist Social Services from December 19 through January 3, 2012.

She returns to her normal schedule on Wedneday, January 4, 2012. This includes office hours on Monday and Wednesday.

Medi-Cal Break

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the on-site Medi-Cal worker will not be at St. John the Baptist Social Services November 21-25. She will be back at normal hours from November 28.

No Medi-Cal October 10

Due to the county Columbus Day holiday on Monday, October 10, the Medi-Cal and CalFresh worker will not be in the office. The Social Services office will be open.

Medi-Cal Assistance

St. John the Baptist Social Services is pleased to offer on-site assistance with filling out applications for Medi-Cal and food stamps. This service is available Mondays and Wednesdays 9-12 and 1-5. Please note the office is closed Monday, January 17, for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Aerobics and Medi-Cal Update

The twice-weekly aerobics classes will resume Monday, January 3, following the Christmas break.

The county Medi-Cal worker is on vacation for the remainder of 2010. She will return to St. John the Baptist Social Services on Monday, January 3, 2011.

New Medi-Cal Hours

Through December 1 the Los Angeles County Medi-Cal representative will be on site at this new schedule:

Mondays 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesdays 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

(Please note she will not be present November 22 and 24).

She is available to assist in applying for the program.

Medi-Cal Holiday

Due to the state and county holiday, the onsite Medi-Cal worker will not be at St. John the Baptist on Monday, October 11. She returns Wednesday, October 13.

Medi-Cal Worker

St. John the Baptist Social Services hosts a Los Angeles County Social Services worker on site most Mondays and Wednesdays. She can assist with applications for Medi-Cal as well as food stamps.

SNAP/Food Stamp Assistance

Beginning Wednesday January 20, St. John the Baptist Social Services will be able to help with applications for SNAP (a.k.a. Food Stamps; Supplemental Nutirition Assistance Program).

Los Angeles County stations a trained social worker every Monday and Wednesday from 9:30 until 12 and 1 p.m. until 5 to assist with Medi-Cal and now SNAP applications.

Medi-Cal Representative Update

St. John the Baptist Social Services is pleased to announce that the Medi-Cal worker provided by Los Angeles County will return starting January 20, 2010, every Monday and Wednesday.

Medi-Cal Representative News

St. John the Baptist Social Services hosts a Los Angeles County DHSS social worker every Monday and Wednesday to assist with Medi-Cal applications. She will be on vacation from December 21 to early 2010 and thus not available during that time.

Health Fair - November 8

St. John the Baptist Social Services will be hosting a health fair on Sunday, November 8, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parish hall for everyone in parish, Baldwin Park and the area.

Exhibitors include doctors, dentists, pharmacies, and a chiropractor as well as free glucose tests, blood pressure screening, Vitamin B-12 boosters, and assistance with Medi-Cal forms.
