Baldwin Park Police Services

The Baldwin Park Police Department is keeping up with the times. They have launched several new services that can be accessed through the City of Baldwin Park website; www.baldwinpark.com.

www.crimereports.com is a website that provides Baldwin Park residents timely and reliable information on criminal activity in their neighborhoods. Residents can search the database using their home address to see recent criminal and traffic activity which is updated every 6 hours. “Information is power,” Chief Hadsell added, “and we hope that giving the community this information will help them prevent crime in their neighborhoods.” This information is available 24 hours a day through the website www.crimereports.com or through the CrimeReports iPhone app.

Because everybody’s time is valuable, the Baldwin Park Police Department has launched an Online Police Reporting System that allows any victim to submit an online report immediately to the police department. The Online Police Reporting System can be accessed through the City of Baldwin Park’s website at www.baldwinpark.com.

Victims may report a crime online from the comfort of their own home if the incident is not an emergency situation, occurred in Baldwin Park, there are no known suspects, and it did not occur on a State Highway. Once all the criteria have been met a report can be made and submitted. In return, each report will be issued a police report number and victim will be contacted if further investigation is required. Victims can print a copy of their report for free once it has been submitted.

Another feature added by the Baldwin Park Police Department is the Online Traffic Collision Report Retrieval System. This new feature will allow victims and or insurance companies access to traffic collision reports and photos using the online system. Users can access the feature through the City of Baldwin Park’s website www.baldwinpark.com. A police report number is needed to obtain traffic collision information and photos. Information can be printed for a small fee of $20 per report and $10 per photo.

These new technologies will allow the Baldwin Park Police Department to operate more efficiently while providing enhanced customer service to the residents of Baldwin Park.
